If you want to see a uniquely curated senior session, this one doesn’t disappoint. During the planning stages, Addy and I went back and forth trying to curate a session that was truly unique to her liking. She is finishing up her high school career while also taking her first year of college courses at the same time. Smart girl, right? Well, she is smart, sassy, and has an awesome personality. She loves style, loves the outdoors, has an artistic soul and was ready to just go with the flow at our session. We had initially planned on to shoot at downtown Wilmington as one of our spots but decided to also incorporate some color at the Arboretum.
Downtown Wilmington was a bit crowded the day we wanted to take photos and unfortunately we had lots of filming going on. So, we found the perfect location spots to accentuate her country vintage style. Castle street was the perfect backdrop to vibe with her vintage style. Addy had some unique pieces that completed our retro session and also make it just for some really fun editorial lifestyle pics.

Senior photos are meant to be fun! They are meant to showcase your style, your youth, and these photos will hopefully bring you back to hopefully a slower, fun, and just adventurous time in your life. The more creative in a session, I think the better. If you want just boring photos, then this of course is a case for the old style school photos, but to actually utilize your session to the full potential is great. And Addy definitely did this. This was a magically colorful session and was extremely unique. I loved our time chasing the chicken wall on castle street, and being able to take photos by the old restored fire house on castle and fifth. We gathered our stuff and headed to the arboretum and it was perfection. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon and the crowds were low. The foliage was peeking through and Addy’s Betty Boop jacket and beautiful flower dress were the best backdrops to our setting. Addy is a beautiful artistic soul, and I can’t wait to see what you does in her future. The future is definitely at her hands.
