I have been able to participate in some awesome projects this year! I met with a group of creatives in South Florida to shoot the House of Perna’s Summer 2014 Lookbook. We had two days to shoot a studio look book  and also a creative styled shoot in sunny Hollywood Beach, Florida.

The outcome was great, but getting to the point we all wanted to get to was a journey. Right now we are all building our careers and with that said, we do things guerrilla style. Sometimes it works, and sometimes you just get lucky enough to make it work!

We definitely made it work, and I was able to produce some pretty awesome studio shots. Whitney Sharpe was our feature model for the look book. She was fantastic! She fit the brand perfectly and her look embodies everything that Amanda Perna wants her clothing to reflect.  Kelly Frances Sockol was our blog theme and also on location theme model. It was so nice to work with two girls who could co-exsist and produce such beautiful images both separate and together. Both girls rocked it, and I enjoyed working with them! What made it even more incredible was that day 2 brought a whole new creative time and also new girls. Victoria and Kasey were such professionals and were able to offer a different variety of looks for our inspirational shoot.

I can’t wait to show the final images of this shoot!  Here are a few behind the scenes of both days we shot.

My most favorite to photograh!

He is my heart, and I know that one day he won' t be around but our memories and the photographs I've taken of him, will always live on. Creating something you're able to look back on when the ones you love are gone is the reason why I love photography. Photographs are not just moments but they are heirlooms. The only regret I have in my own personal collection of photographs is that I did not have more images of the people who have left this world.

A photograph is probably one of the only things you will own that will have MORE value as it ages.
