The beginning of my year started off with traveling to the beautiful Hilton Head, South Carolina. Destination Wedding, you say? Uh yeah!! =)
I had never been able to go to this area before, so nonetheless I was excited to see what the fuss was. Well, Hilton Head is a beautiful town. I loved the oak tree’s that lined the streets. It reminded me of my old home in Ormond Beach, Florida. It’s really clean, and new, and just very well maintained. Not sure if anyone really lives here because it’s almost untouched. But I was told that during the summer, this is the spot! This will definitely be a spot, we come back to..maybe next time to vacation, not work.
The story of Hilton Head with the bride and groom, is pretty special. This is kinda their starting place of their love, and the place were they decided to seal that love.. Their wedding was made up of all close family and friends. All which, made the special trip to see them get hitched!
Before we photographed the bride getting ready, we headed towards the Palmetto Dunes Beach House. The reception tables were decorated with places from the Magic Kingdom. It was really cute to see how they incorporated their love for Disney at the wedding!
After photographing the details at the reception site, we headed back towards the brides room at the Disney Vacation Club resort. She gathered her makeup and hair accessories and got ready for the big day. Her details were gorgeous..
How cute are her brother and his son getting ready.. It was really cute to see the whole family get ready in one place, and especially to see this candid moment!
And this ring.. .Wow!! Jeremy did a super fantastical job at choosing something that was definitely going to be remembered, and timeless…
And how cute are Leslie’s shoes! I love how delicate and comfortable they looked.. (definitely a girl after my own heart).
The wedding theme was Disney, but focusing on Mary Poppins. The groom and his groomsmen wore white tuxedo’s that mimicked the penguins from the film.
Leslie’s dad wore a celtic inspired wedding tuxedo. He was really spiffy in his kilt. She opted to get ready at the ceremony site, so her dad was awesome enough to bring her dress in. Leslie’s dress was a beautiful white gown from David’s bridal that was nothing but fairytale-ish.
Leslie and Jeremy are the sweetest couple. They walked to Disney themed music, and looked into one another’s eyes as they read their written vows to one another. Jeremy was really eager to see his bride walk down the aisle.
The emotions were definitely pouring as she walked down the aisle…
After their I do’s, we snuck back to the Hilton Head Disney resort were we snapped some photo’s off the harbor, and definitely made it a point to take a photo with the wooden bench, that had Walt Disney’s initials; as a keepsake! 🙂
They were kind, and generous and just overall special people…. We can’t express how thankful we were for your company, and your willingness to roll with all the events of the day!
Leslie and Jeremy, your love is innocent, pure, and beautiful. I hope it stays and grows into something that is everlasting and endless!
