Southport, NC Photographer-[Engagements..]
James loves the way Sarah’s hair frames her face, how Sarah is kind, patient, and loves him even at even his goofiest state.
Sarah loves the person that makes her laugh, the person that thinks of her when she’s to busy to think of her own self, the person that reminds her how beautiful she is when you doesn’t feel that way, the person that loves her unconditionally.
These two are adorably cute.. I mean seriously so sweet, and their relationship is like puppy love….
Shooting engagement sessions are always fun to me, there a time where I can get to know the future bride and groom; and its a time where my clients just get to walk around with me, we take some pictures, do some directional posing and it’s really just a nice time to get comfortable around one another. My photography style is lifestyle photography so with that said, it’s very loose, very natural, and lots of emotion in my image choices.
We danced, we laughed, and we giggled all the way through out walk tour of Southport, NC while snapping a few images in between. We were going to shoot in downtown Wilmington,NC but the riverfest festival was in town and that would have not planned out with a crowd. So, we decided what better backdrop than good ole all american small town, Southport, North Carolina.
I definitely wasn’t crying about going to shoot there. I love Southport. Its one of my favorite coastal towns in Eastern North Carolina, and I love that I got to shoot there. Southport is that town where people leave their doors open, where families sit outside and lounge in their backyards reading, and basking in the sun. Its quiet, clean, and beautiful.
Its like a little piece of old American apple pie was preserved into a town, and we got Southport, NC because of it.
I will be shooting James and Sarah’s wedding in June, and I can’t be anymore excited! Cheers to the next few months of planning and getting to know one another even more!
And cheers to a beautiful wedding in June in Wrightsville Beach, NC =)
