Modern Maternity + Lifestyle Newborn/Family

Family Life [ motherhood]

Motherhood is one of the most important jobs a women can have. And with that said, you should definitely document your story. The location can be outdoors and indoors. We will create a Pinterest board and figure out your ideal style and what clothing you'd like to wear during our shoot. If you feel like you want some images with the dad to be, we can definitely accommodate it! Just like in my other shooting styles, I gravitate towards creating images that are fun and could be found in your latest magazine. With that said, any ideas are welcomed.

Makeup and hair is always recommended, why not pamper yourself while your at it! Upon finalizing our session, I will also assist in styling suggestions and wardrobe. Every detail of our shoot will be touched on and it will be one of the best days of your life (other then that babies arrival), I promise. It'll be lots of fun!

Questions + Answers

Can my session be both indoor and outdoor?
-Family sessions are usually done outdoors, but can be accommodated indoors based upon the number of participants.

If it's a true maternity photoshoot, we can definitely do both, and

also if it's just you and your baby we can do some in a studio format, and also I can take photos in your home for a more lifestyle shoot.

What kind of images can we create?
-I want to create images that will be heirlooms. When women are pregnant they either feel incredibly beautiful or they neglect to see their beauty in this stage of their life. That's were I come in. I want you to feel beautiful, and I want you to feel so awesome that these images will be cherished not only for your lifetime, but your families. If we are shooting after your baby is born, I will try and document your day to day in the most colorful way. Hide and seek, building a blanketed tent around their room, playing with their toys.. the possibilities are endless. The goal is to have fun and create memories that will last a lifetime. After all, we all know how quickly time passes, and sometimes all we have left are our memories in print to pass to the next generation.

How far in advance should I book?
-For maternity photos it is best to schedule a month before your due date. This will ensure we get you in before the baby is born. If you feel like this might be too close, six weeks before your due date is usually a good reference point. Your belly should be nice and round and this will photography really nicely.
-For newborn images at home, I would schedule no more than two weeks after your baby's birth date. Babies grow so quickly so we definitely want to make sure we capitalize on showcasing how small and delicate they are when they get to go home for the first time.

How long does the turn around take for me to see my images?
-Images can be viewed in 2-3 weeks. We will go through all the images and select your favorites.

At this point we would have already discussed how many prints you may want, and from there on we will elect the sizes and choices for printing. The images are sent to a lab in Italy, and it usually takes 5-7 business days for me to get the images back to you.

(trust me the wait is well worth it!)

Do you offer Payment plans?
-Your sitting fee is due at the time of your session. Your printing invoice is due once your printing selection is made. If you need to break it up into two or/ four payments, I will gladly do so.

I take check, paypal, and/or square.

Do you offer discounts?
-If you refer a client to me, you will most definitely get a discount. You can choose to waive a sitting fee, or get a free 8x12 print on a previous session or future session.
